Questions We Get Asked

Is there a minimum job size for trim or built-in work?

On time-and-materials work there is a 4-hour minimum. Single-room trim packages, a one-off bookshelf wall or a set of closet built-ins are all normal jobs for us — you do not need a whole-house project to book.

Can you match new trim to the profiles already in my house?

Yes. Matching new trim to existing trim is standard work for us. We take a profile off the existing material at the consultation so new baseboard, casing or crown reads as original rather than added on.

Can I buy the materials myself?

You can. If you have already purchased the material, we can work hourly at $110 per labor hour and install what you have.

Do you paint and stain, or just install?

Both. We deliver built-ins and trim in painted or stained finishes, so you are not lining up a separate painter after the carpentry is done.

How quickly can someone come out and look at it?

Most consultations in the Rocklin, Roseville and Granite Bay area are scheduled within 24 to 48 hours. The in-home consultation and the estimate are free.
